The 'Security Vendor of the Year' award from Computer Reseller News is particularly prominent within the industry as it is based on a public voting system amongst the IT and business community. Trend Micro was nominated amongst vendors such as Checkpoint, McAfee, Symantec, Webroot, Blue Coat and Fortinet but won the award based on its continued commitment to the channel with successful initiatives such as its Worry-Free SMB partner programme.
